The BUFC academy is a place of learning about football. It is a school for football. We want to develop footballers, but most importantly people. Our academy teaches the importance of life principles as much as it does football. Teamwork, dedication, concentration, application, skill & understanding are all essential traits in our academy. No player will be told he is too small to succeed. The best footballers aren’t always the biggest.

The club is focussed very much on the local community, hence our motto “Coaching Football, Inspiring Communities”.

We hope to produce many good players and teams built on local talent. We want to inspire young people to achieve their goals and be empowered not only on the football pitch but also in life. We believe that football is one of the most powerful tools in the world for inspiring young people to realise their full potential.

Our Head of Academy is Fran Constancio, a UEFA Pro Licence coach, who comes from Valencia in Spain.

We are always interested in player joining us, us for more information regarding our academy please contact Fran:
