On Saturday 9th June Kempston Rovers will play host to the Bedfordshire Girls U16 Challenge County Cup Final where Biggleswade United take on AFC Dunstable. United will look to draw confidence from the recent success throughout the Academy and will look to end their incredible season on a high. This has included the girls earlier this year flying out to Spain to play Valencia CF, and Levante UD in friendly matches, which was a magnificent experience for the girls, which may just give United the edge heading into this one.

United will look to repeat their last meeting with Dunstable where they ran out comfortable 3-0 winners, and for the girl’s sake, we hope that they can replicate the same type of result and lift the county cup. With the league in the favour of Dunstable, United will be looking to dampen their spirits with cup success.

Whatever the result, the girls have been fantastic this season, and deserve all the support, and with that hopefully they can bring back the cup.

The game is a rearranged fixture from April where it was called off due to weather conditions.

The address is: Hillgrounds Leisure, Hillgrounds Rd, Kempston, Bedford MK42 8SZ

12:00pm KO.
